RAPOO Launches VT7 Air MAX V2 and VT7s Air MAX V2 Gaming Mice With Native 8K Polling

RAPOO has expanded its gaming peripheral lineup with the introduction of the VT7 Air MAX V2 and VT7s Air MAX V2 wireless gaming mice. The new models feature upgraded internal hardware, lightweight designs, and native dual-mode 8KHz polling support for users looking for faster response times in competitive gaming. Both Gaming Mice are built around the Nordic nRF54LM20 system-on-chip on both the mouse and receiver, while tracking performance is handled by the flagship PixArt PAW3955 Ultimate optical sensor.

The two models are designed for users who prefer a full palm grip and share the same overall design philosophy while offering slightly different weights. The VT7 Air MAX V2 uses a right-handed symmetrical ergonomic shape and has a nominal weight of 49±2g. The lighter VT7s Air MAX V2 also features a right-handed symmetrical design but weighs approximately 46±2g, making it suitable for gamers who prefer an even lighter mouse during extended gaming sessions.

RAPOO says both mice support native dual-mode 8KHz polling over USB-C wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections. The PAW3955 Ultimate sensor is capable of handling frame rates above 2,000 FPS, while the buttons support an 8KHz scan rate. According to the company, click latency can reach as low as 0.155ms in wired mode and 0.225ms when connected through the 2.4GHz wireless receiver.

The exterior features a skin-friendly anti-slip coating designed to provide a secure grip during long gaming sessions. Inside, RAPOO has adopted a reinforced keel structure to improve durability without adding unnecessary weight. The mice also use 120-million-click optical switches for the primary buttons and a 2-million-cycle optical scroll encoder, replacing traditional mechanical components with optical technology for improved reliability.

RAPOO has also included its C+Click 2.0 button protection system, which separates the button shell from the switch mechanism. Users can adjust the button lift and debounce delay between 0ms and 32ms, allowing them to fine-tune button response based on personal preference and different game genres.

Power is supplied by a 300mAh rechargeable battery, with RAPOO rating battery life at up to 275 hours during wireless use at a 1KHz polling rate. Actual battery life will vary depending on the selected polling rate, usage patterns, and lighting or software settings.
