OneXPlayer 3 Gaming Handheld Revealed With Intel Arc G3 Extreme, 8.8-Inch 144Hz Display, and Detachable Controllers

OneXPlayer has officially unveiled the OneXPlayer 3, the company’s first handheld gaming PC powered by Intel’s newly announced Arc G3 series processor. The new device combines gaming and productivity features in a single package, allowing users to switch between handheld gaming, tablet use, and laptop-style productivity with the included accessories.

The OneXPlayer 3 adopts a modular design with detachable controllers and a magnetic keyboard, placing it in direct competition with devices such as Lenovo’s Legion Go. Users can attach the keyboard for work-related tasks, remove the controllers for tablet use, or use the handheld in a traditional gaming configuration.

According to information published on the company’s Indiegogo campaign page, the OneXPlayer 3 includes several premium hardware features designed for portable gaming. The device is equipped with a large 8.8-inch display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and HDR. The native landscape panel is intended to provide a smoother gaming experience while reducing screen tearing in supported titles.

Key specifications of the OneXPlayer 3 include:

  • Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor
  • 8.8-inch native landscape display
  • 144Hz refresh rate
  • HDR support
  • Variable Refresh Rate (VRR)
  • 85Wh battery
  • Hall-effect joysticks
  • Detachable controllers
  • Magnetic keyboard included
  • Integrated kickstand
  • Controller connector with built-in trackpad
  • Two USB Type-C ports
  • One USB Type-A port
  • 3.5mm audio jack

OneXPlayer has also confirmed launch pricing for three configurations. The entry-level model features 24GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory and a 512GB SSD, priced at HK$10,968 (approximately $1,398.98). A second configuration includes the same memory capacity paired with a 1TB SSD for HK$11,752 (approximately $1,498.98).

The highest-end model upgrades to 32GB of faster LPDDR5X-8533 memory alongside a 1TB SSD. This version is priced at HK$13,320 (approximately $1,698.98). OneXPlayer lists the retail MSRP at HK$15,672 (approximately $1,999.99).

Early buyers will receive several bonus accessories, including a hard-shell carrying case, a soft screen protector, and a OneXPlayer backpack. With Intel’s Arc G3 platform now entering the handheld gaming market, the OneXPlayer 3 aims to attract users looking for a portable gaming system that can also handle productivity tasks without requiring a separate laptop or tablet.
