Xiaomi has expanded its crowdfunding portfolio on Youpin with the launch of a new AMD Strix Halo–powered mini PC. The system, officially named the Star Core Super AI Computer, is manufactured by the Chinese company Linglong and not directly by Xiaomi itself.
At the center of this compact computer is the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, AMD’s flagship option within the Strix Halo lineup. It is paired with 128 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 2 TB of SSD storage. The system is available at an initial crowdfunding price of CNY 13,999 (around $1,941), while the regular price will rise to CNY 15,999 (around $2,218) after the campaign ends.

Although branded on Xiaomi’s Youpin platform, the mini PC’s design closely resembles Linglong’s earlier models and also bears similarities to the Lenovo LCFC H02 and the Corsair AI Workstation 300. This design trend highlights the growing market for compact, high-performance workstations targeted at both professional and gaming workloads.
One of the highlights of this system is its Radeon 8060S integrated GPU. Out of the 128 GB system memory, up to 96 GB can be allocated as VRAM, allowing the GPU to deliver performance comparable to the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. This capability makes the Strix Halo system suitable for both demanding creative tasks and gaming performance at a competitive level.
In terms of connectivity, Linglong has equipped the mini PC with a wide selection of ports, including:
- 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 3x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x USB4
- 1x 2.5G Ethernet
- 1x 3.5 mm audio jack

Wireless networking is supported by WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring compatibility with the latest high-speed connections. Storage expansion is made possible through two PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, while the system also features a 120 W performance mode for sustained workloads. Despite these high-end specifications, the system maintains a relatively compact form factor, appealing to users seeking workstation performance in smaller setups.
The Linglong Strix Halo mini PC is unlikely to be released globally under Xiaomi’s name. However, similar Strix Halo–based systems, such as the Corsair AI Workstation 300, the Colorful Smart 900, and the GMKtec EVO-X2 (currently listed on Amazon for $1,999.99), are already available in international markets.

With its combination of powerful AMD hardware, expandable memory allocation for graphics, and modern connectivity options, Xiaomi’s new Youpin mini PC highlights the growing role of Strix Halo platforms in both professional and enthusiast computing segments.
