Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi (2026) Gaming Monitor With Mini LED, 180Hz Refresh Rate Launches Globally

Xiaomi has officially launched the G Pro 27Qi (2026) gaming monitor for the global market, adding a new high-refresh-rate display to its growing monitor lineup. The G Pro 27Qi targets competitive gamers while also offering features that appeal to users who need accurate color reproduction for everyday creative work. It is built around a 27-inch panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 2560 × 1440, positioning it in the popular QHD segment.

The monitor uses an IPS panel combined with a Mini LED backlight system. According to Xiaomi, the G Pro 27Qi can reach up to 2000 nits of peak brightness, while delivering a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1. The Mini LED backlight is divided into 1,152 local dimming zones and meets the requirements for VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Xiaomi has also implemented a custom scene recognition engine that dynamically adjusts brightness and contrast based on on-screen content. Users can choose between three local dimming levels or disable the feature entirely.

For gaming performance, the G Pro 27Qi supports a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz and includes AMD FreeSync to reduce screen tearing during gameplay. Xiaomi lists a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time, which is in line with expectations for fast-paced competitive titles. These specifications make the monitor suitable for e-sports-focused use cases where smooth motion and low input latency are priorities.

Color performance is another area Xiaomi highlights. The company claims 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut, along with 99% coverage of both Adobe RGB and DCI-P3. Each unit ships with an individual factory calibration report, and Xiaomi states that the display is tuned to achieve delta-E values below 1. This level of calibration allows the G Pro 27Qi to handle tasks such as photo editing, video work, and general content creation alongside gaming.

In terms of design and ergonomics, the G Pro 27Qi features an adjustable stand that supports height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments, including portrait orientation. The rear of the monitor includes an RGB lighting ring, adding a subtle gaming aesthetic without being overly aggressive. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. Xiaomi has also added a built-in flip-out headphone holder on the top-right side of the monitor for added convenience.

The Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi is currently available through Xiaomi’s global online store with a listed price of AUD 475, which is roughly USD 330. Pricing information suggests that the monitor may later be adjusted to AUD 699. As of now, the G Pro 27Qi does not appear to be available on Xiaomi’s US storefront. The closest alternative listed there is the G Pro 27i, which offers lower peak brightness and a less advanced backlight system compared to the newly launched model.
