Weikav has unveiled its first full-size aluminum mechanical keyboard, the NUT108, designed for users seeking a combination of durability, aesthetics, and customization. The keyboard is offered in two variants: a kit version without switches and keycaps, and a pre-built version that comes ready to use.
The keyboard’s chassis features a 220-grit matte finish enhanced through anodizing and electrophoresis, providing a refined and durable surface. The front panel incorporates engraved anodized elements, reactor-style luminous accents, and a colored laser-engraved marble texture. The back panel employs a two-tone anodizing process, adding subtle visual depth. A notable feature of the NUT108 is its dual LED strips, which can capture ambient audio in real time to produce dynamic light effects, blending decoration and interactivity.

Under the hood, the NUT108 uses a dual-gasket mounting system with a quick-release ball-bearing mechanism for stability and flexible typing feedback. The keyboard integrates a 1.2mm single-key slotted PCB, an FR4 positioning plate, and five layers of acoustic damping materials, which reduce noise and enhance the typing experience. Users can install hot-swappable QMK or VIA-compatible switches, allowing for effortless customization. The pre-built version comes with HMX custom Smoke Cloud switches and PBT five-sided dye-sublimated keycaps, which are known for their durability and resistance to shine.

The NUT108 is also equipped with a 10000mAh battery, supporting extended wireless use without frequent charging. With its low front profile of 18.5mm and premium aluminum build, the keyboard caters to both professional users and enthusiasts seeking a high-quality typing experience with visual appeal.
The release of the NUT108 marks Weikav’s entry into the premium full-size mechanical keyboard market, combining solid construction, customizable features, and advanced lighting effects in a single package.
