VAXEE has officially introduced the NP-01 Ergo Wireless, expanding its lineup of competitive gaming mice with a model designed for players who prefer an ergonomic shape. The new mouse is built for users who use a slightly angled grip and want a larger body with more support around the rear of the mouse for improved comfort during long gaming sessions. Alongside its familiar ergonomic design, the company has upgraded the hardware with a new sensor, faster wireless performance, and additional customization options.

The biggest hardware upgrade is the new VAXEE Core1 optical sensor, which supports sensitivity levels of up to 42,000 DPI (CPI). VAXEE says the sensor is designed to deliver responsive tracking and accurate cursor movement, making it suitable for fast-paced competitive games where consistent precision is important. The mouse also allows users to fine-tune several performance settings directly, giving players more control over how the mouse behaves during gameplay.

The third-generation Core Link wireless technology is also included. According to VAXEE, this updated wireless system focuses on improving resistance to signal interference, helping maintain a stable wireless connection even in environments where multiple wireless devices are in use. The NP-01 Ergo Wireless also supports polling rates of up to 8,000Hz, allowing the mouse to send position updates much more frequently than standard 1,000Hz gaming mice. Higher polling rates can reduce input latency on supported systems, although they also increase power consumption.
Battery life depends on the selected performance mode. When operating at a standard 1,000Hz polling rate, the mouse is rated for up to 98 hours of wireless use. Switching to the 8,000Hz competitive mode reduces battery life to around 23 hours, reflecting the additional power required for higher polling rates.

The NP-01 Ergo Wireless also includes multiple adjustment options for competitive players. Users can select between five different lift-off distance (LOD) settings to match different mousepads and playing styles. In addition, button response speed can be configured between 0ms, 2ms, and 4ms, allowing players to choose their preferred click response.
