Ugreen, widely recognized for its USB hardware, cables, and power adapters, has made its first move into the GPU expansion market with the LinkStation Graphics Card Expansion Dock. The product was recently listed on JD.com with a price of 2299 Yuan (~$325 USD), drawing interest from PC enthusiasts both in China and abroad.
The LinkStation dock features a semi-open enclosure with a brushed aluminium finish, providing a sleek appearance while accommodating high-performance components. According to promotional material, the dock can house NVIDIA GeForce RTX Founders Edition cards, though the official specifications indicate support for a wide range of AMD and Intel graphics cards, giving users flexibility in selecting hardware.

The dock supports graphics cards up to 370 mm in length in a fully enclosed setup. For larger cards, a modular top cover can be removed to ensure compatibility. Weighing 5.08 kg, the LinkStation is designed to work with laptops, mini PCs, and gaming handhelds, offering a portable yet capable solution for users seeking desktop-level graphics performance without committing to a full tower PC.
Connectivity options include an OCuLink port, which supports data transfer speeds up to 64 Gbps, allowing for near-native GPU performance comparable to direct motherboard connections. A USB4 port is also included, delivering 40 Gbps speeds along with 100 W reverse charging for compatible devices. The dock comes bundled with a 0.5 m OCuLink cable and a 0.8 m USB4 cable, ensuring users have the necessary components to get started immediately.
Powering the LinkStation is an 850 W Gold-rated ATX 3.1 power supply, sufficient to run high-end graphics cards such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 and 50-series. This combination of power and connectivity ensures that users can run demanding applications and games without performance bottlenecks.

The launch of the LinkStation marks Ugreen’s entry into the eGPU market, expanding the company’s product lineup beyond traditional USB and power solutions. By offering compatibility with multiple GPU brands and providing a high-speed, portable connection, the LinkStation dock targets professionals, content creators, and gamers who need enhanced graphics capabilities on devices that typically lack dedicated desktop GPUs.
Early reports from testing suggest that the dock’s OCuLink connection delivers performance close to a direct motherboard interface, making it a practical option for users seeking additional graphics power without investing in a full desktop system. Ugreen’s LinkStation represents a strategic step into a growing segment where flexibility and portability are increasingly valued by users.
