TP-Link has announced the launch of the TL-WR3602BE, its latest travel router equipped with Wi-Fi 7 technology. Positioned for travelers, business professionals, and remote workers, the new router is designed to provide high-speed and secure connectivity in hotels, airports, cafés, or temporary workspaces.

The TL-WR3602BE delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps, with dual-band performance reaching 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. This enables the router to handle demanding tasks such as video calls, cloud collaboration, file transfers, and streaming across multiple devices simultaneously. By bringing Wi-Fi 7 into a compact and portable form factor, TP-Link expands its “Wi-Fi 7 for Everyone” initiative to include mobile and travel-friendly use cases.

The travel router integrates several Wi-Fi 7 advancements, including Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for faster and more stable connections, 4K-QAM modulation for higher data throughput, and OFDMA for efficient traffic handling in busy environments. Two adjustable external antennas are included to improve range and signal strength. A hardware switch on the unit also allows quick toggling of commonly used functions, such as enabling VPN or activating guest mode.
Security is a key focus of the TL-WR3602BE. The router comes with support for OpenVPN and WireGuard protocols, compatible with over 35 VPN providers. For added convenience, NordVPN and Surfshark are directly integrated into the router’s interface. This allows users to sign in quickly and establish encrypted tunnels, protecting sensitive data when accessing public Wi-Fi networks abroad or during business travel.

The TL-WR3602BE features seven operating modes, including router, hotspot, and phone tethering. Users can connect to public Wi-Fi once through a captive portal and securely share the connection with multiple devices in hotspot mode. Phone tethering enables smartphones to serve as the internet source, while traditional router mode provides standard home or office connectivity. Management and setup are supported through the TP-Link Tether mobile app and a web interface, ensuring simple configuration on the go.
The TP-Link TL-WR3602BE Wi-Fi 7 Travel Router is now available at a retail price of $109.99. Buyers on Amazon can use the promotional code 30WIFI7 until August 31, 2025, or while supplies last.
With this release, TP-Link extends Wi-Fi 7 performance into portable networking solutions, giving users reliable, high-speed internet access wherever their travels take them.
