Thrustmaster Launches Ferrari 499P Centenary Winner Edition Sim Racing Wheel in Limited 499-Unit Run

Thrustmaster has introduced a new premium sim racing wheel developed in collaboration with Ferrari, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the official racing title Le Mans Ultimate. The new Ferrari 499P Centenary Winner Edition celebrates Ferrari’s historic victory at the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the #51 499P Hypercar. Production is strictly limited to just 499 individually numbered units, positioning it as both a high-end racing peripheral and a collector-focused release.

The wheel is designed at a 1:1 scale and takes direct inspiration from the steering wheel used in Ferrari’s endurance racing prototype. Thrustmaster has focused on replicating real-world racing ergonomics, aiming to bring a closer connection between sim racing setups and professional motorsport cockpit design. A molded carbon fiber back cover adds structural rigidity and a motorsport-grade finish, while the integrated 4.3-inch display provides real-time telemetry and racing data during gameplay.

LED indicators and backlit controls are also included, offering clear visual feedback for shifting points, performance metrics, and in-race adjustments. The layout is designed to support endurance racing sessions where fast access to controls and visibility are critical.

Beyond its use in simulation racing, the product is also presented as a collectible item. Each unit comes with a steel display stand featuring the official 24 Hours of Le Mans centenary logo, allowing owners to display the wheel when not in use. The package also includes commemorative posters that highlight both the 2023 victory and the technical blueprint of the wheel design.

The bundle is further expanded with the inclusion of Le Mans Ultimate, along with previously released paid content, turning the package into a complete racing ecosystem for both hardware and software enthusiasts.

Key highlights include:

  • Limited to 499 individually numbered units worldwide
  • 1:1 scale design inspired by the Ferrari 499P Hypercar steering wheel
  • 4.3-inch onboard display for live telemetry and race data
  • Carbon fiber back cover for added rigidity and a premium finish
  • LED shift indicators and backlit controls
  • Includes a steel display stand with Le Mans centenary branding
  • Bundled with Le Mans Ultimate and paid DLC content
  • Collector’s edition packaging with commemorative posters

The Ferrari 499P Centenary Winner Edition will be available through a limited pre-order window starting June 13 at 4 PM via Thrustmaster’s official website. Pricing is set at €851 / $851 / £751. Demo sessions are also planned at the 24H Le Mans 2026 event at the Le Mans Ultimate x Thrustmaster booth in the Karting Fan Zone.

With its limited availability and strong ties to Ferrari’s endurance racing success, the release is aimed at sim racing enthusiasts and collectors looking for a motorsport-inspired centerpiece for their setup.
