Rebel Wolves, in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment, has released a new teaser for The Blood of Dawnwalker, timed to coincide with the January Full Wolf Moon. The video offers a closer look at several new characters who will play key roles in the story, as well as previously unseen locations in Vale Sangora, a remote and mysterious area of the Carpathian Mountains. The footage, captured from the current PC beta, provides players with an early glimpse of the environments and gameplay mechanics that will be available at launch.
Alongside the teaser, the official cover art for the game has been revealed. It features the protagonist Coen, a Dawnwalker cursed to live as a human by day and a vampire by night, set against a solar eclipse. The imagery emphasizes the connection between the game’s narrative and celestial events, which play a significant role in the story and world of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Rebel Wolves also introduced the main musical theme of the game, recorded with the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy. Composed by Nikola Kołodziejczyk, the piece incorporates instruments and sounds inspired by the 14th-century Carpathian setting. “The theme reflects the era and pays homage to the people and culture of that time, while remaining true to the historical atmosphere,” Kołodziejczyk explained.
In addition to the teaser, the studio released a video looking back at the past year of development, highlighting key milestones from the game’s first reveal to its presentations at major industry events. Rebel Wolves expressed gratitude to the community for their feedback and support, and indicated that more updates are planned in the coming months.
