A new retail listing has sparked discussion around the release timeline of Silent Hill Townfall, one of the upcoming projects tied to Konami’s renewed push for the Silent Hill franchise. The listing, briefly published by Liverpool Mexico, suggested a launch date of March 26, 2026. Although the page was quickly removed, its appearance has led to growing interest from fans who have been waiting for updates on the title.
Liverpool Mexico is a well-established department store chain with roots dating back to the mid-19th century. Its presence in the region and history of selling games and electronics gives the listing some weight, even if it ultimately appeared earlier than intended. The listing was first noticed by the Polish outlet CD Action, which highlighted that the specific date did not resemble a common placeholder. This detail drew more attention than a generic end-of-year or quarter marker typically used before publishers confirm their schedules.

Once the information began circulating on social media, the listing vanished. While there is no direct confirmation that Annapurna Interactive requested its removal, this type of quick takedown often occurs when retailers upload material before receiving approval. It would not be the first time a regional store inadvertently revealed a release window ahead of schedule.
If the date is accurate, the timing aligns with the overall progress of the Silent Hill revival effort. Konami originally presented several new projects in October 2022 to signal a renewed investment in the series. Since then, Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f have both launched and contributed to renewed interest in the franchise. Townfall, however, is the project that has remained the most mysterious.
The game is in development at Screen Burn, formerly No Code, a studio known for adventure titles and atmospheric storytelling. Fans voiced concern last year after reports surfaced regarding Annapurna Interactive’s internal challenges, raising questions about Townfall’s status. The studio later reassured fans that development was continuing, though no major updates have been shared since then.
Given that nearly four years have passed since the initial announcement, a release window in early 2026 would be consistent with typical development cycles for titles of this scale. It also increases expectations that formal information may arrive soon. With The Game Awards approaching at the end of the year, many view the event as a likely venue for a new trailer or confirmation.
For now, the listing remains unverified, but its timing has revived interest in a project that has remained quiet for an extended period. If the March 2026 date reflects internal schedules, Silent Hill Townfall may be nearing the stage where full details are finally ready to be shared.
