REDMAGIC has confirmed that its latest gaming smartphone, the REDMAGIC 11 Air, will launch globally on January 29, 2026. The device was first introduced in China and is positioned as the brand’s newest flagship focused on esports performance, thermal management, and a full-screen design aimed at competitive mobile gaming.
The REDMAGIC 11 Air follows the theme “Esports Redefined · Performance Elevated” and combines high-end hardware with a slimmer profile than previous models. It will be available in White, Black, and Silver finishes. For the first time in the Air series, REDMAGIC is extending its transparent design language across the lineup, paired with a 3D curved glass back and rear RGB lighting that remains part of the brand’s gaming identity.

The smartphone features a 1.5K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate and ultra-narrow 1.25mm bezels, delivering a reported 95.1% screen-to-body ratio. A 16MP under-display front camera is used to keep the display uninterrupted, supported by software processing for selfies and video calls. Eye-care features include high-frequency PWM dimming and DC dimming to reduce flicker during extended use.
For gaming, the display supports up to 2500Hz instant touch sampling and 960Hz multi-finger tracking. REDMAGIC’s Magic Touch system is designed to reduce input delay, while physical shoulder triggers with a 520Hz response rate allow custom controls for FPS, MOBA, and action games.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with the RedCore R4 gaming chip. This dual-chip configuration handles performance tuning, graphics processing, and system-level optimization. The phone is equipped with LPDDR5X ULTRA memory and UFS 4.1 storage to support fast load times and smooth multitasking.
REDMAGIC’s Energy Cube 3.0 engine manages real-time performance and power allocation, with support for 2K resolution at 144Hz across a wide range of popular games. A built-in PC emulator is also included, allowing selected PC titles to run on the device with stable frame rates.

Cooling remains a key focus for the REDMAGIC 11 Air. The device introduces the Turbo Fan 4.0 to the Air series, capable of spinning up to 24,000 RPM. The redesigned fan improves airflow efficiency while reducing noise and dust buildup. It is paired with an aerospace-grade aluminum structure and an upgraded thermal module.
An enlarged Ice-Stage VC vapor chamber is also included, with improved heat distribution and faster coolant circulation. According to REDMAGIC, the cooling system helps maintain consistent temperatures during long gaming sessions, allowing the hardware to sustain high performance levels.

The phone is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery, the largest used in the REDMAGIC Air lineup so far. It supports 120W fast charging and bypass charging, which powers the system directly during gaming to reduce battery wear. A 4D X-axis linear motor provides haptic feedback, while tuned audio aims to improve positional sound awareness in competitive titles.
The REDMAGIC 11 Air features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. While photography is not the main focus, the setup is designed for daily use.

Running REDMAGIC OS 11, the device includes AI-based tools such as object recognition through the camera, on-screen content search, and a Tactical Coach feature that analyzes gameplay data to provide real-time suggestions during supported games.
In China, the REDMAGIC 11 Air launches on January 20, 2026, starting at 3,699 RMB for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 16GB + 512GB version is priced at 4,399 RMB, with both configurations available in White and Black.
Global launch details, including international pricing and availability, will be announced on January 29, 2026, through REDMAGIC’s official website at redmagic.gg.
