Razer Viper V4 Pro Gaming Mouse Gets a New Esports Green Edition

If you have been waiting for Razer to give its flagship Viper mouse the same green treatment as its other esports hardware, that wait is now over. Razer has announced the Viper V4 Pro Esports Green Edition, bringing the company’s latest wireless esports mouse to its Esports Green Collection. The new version keeps the performance-focused hardware of the Viper V4 Pro while adding Razer’s familiar green finish, and it will be sold exclusively through Razer.com and select RazerStores.

The Viper V4 Pro is designed for competitive players who want a lightweight mouse without giving up high polling rates or sensor performance. At 52 grams, the mouse is lighter than the previous generation, with Razer using changes to its internal mechanical and structural design to reduce weight while maintaining the balance of the chassis.

The wireless system is one of the key features for competitive gaming. Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 supports an 8000Hz polling rate, while the company claims it is more than 60% more power-efficient than the previous generation and reduces latency by 55%. Players can also drop to 1000Hz when longer battery life is more important, with Razer rating the mouse for up to 180 hours at that setting.

Under the shell, the Viper V4 Pro uses Razer’s Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, which supports up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS tracking, and 90G acceleration. The sensor also includes Frame Sync technology, designed to keep sensor reporting consistent during fast movements.

Razer has paired the sensor with its fourth-generation optical mouse switches. The switches are rated for more than 100 million clicks and use a redesigned mechanism intended to provide a quicker and more consistent click response. An optical scroll wheel is also included, replacing the traditional mechanical approach and adding more precise tracking for players who rely on quick weapon or ability changes.

The Esports Green finish is the main difference between this model and the standard Viper V4 Pro. Razer says the color uses Pantone 802C, with the same material calibration process used across its Esports Green Collection. The Viper V4 Pro now joins products such as the DeathAdder V4 Pro, Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz, and BlackShark V3 Pro in the lineup.

Razer is also highlighting the Viper family’s presence in competitive VALORANT. According to data cited by the company from ProSettings.net, more than three in ten tracked VALORANT professionals use a Razer Viper mouse, while almost half use a Razer mouse overall. The Viper V4 Pro is also endorsed by Faker, the six-time League of Legends World Champion.
