Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition Launches With Magnesium Alloy Body and TMR Thumbsticks

Razer has announced the Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition, a premium wireless controller officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and designed for competitive gaming. The new controller combines a magnesium alloy exoskeleton with contactless TMR thumbstick sensors, programmable controls, and support for up to 2,000 Hz polling on PC. Razer will initially produce only 1,337 individually serialized units, making it a limited-edition addition to its Raiju controller lineup.

The Raiju series first arrived in 2016, and the Signature Edition brings nearly a decade of controller development into a new design. It weighs 260 grams and features an open-polygonal exterior with chamfered edges and a protective nano coating. The handles use matte black textured TPU, while the controller’s touchpad features laser-etched glass with a semi-transparent finish. Razer has also used double-shot PBT for the action buttons, directional pad, and secondary inputs to help prevent the legends from fading over time.

Charlie Bolton, Global Head of Design at Razer, explained the company’s approach to the new controller:

“With the Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition, we set out to illustrate what happens when Razer’s engineering and design capabilities are pushed to their absolute limits. It draws on years of experience in high-performance controllers, delivering tournament-grade responsiveness in a design that feels like a statement piece in hand.”

For gaming performance, the Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition features a symmetrical thumbstick layout with contactless TMR sensors designed to deliver precise input tracking and improved durability. It also includes six mappable multi-function buttons, two claw-grip bumpers, and four mouse-click back buttons. These additional controls allow players to assign frequently used actions without moving their thumbs away from the sticks.

The controller supports PlayStation 5 and PC, with Razer HyperPolling Wireless offering polling rates of up to 2,000 Hz on PC. Users can adjust button assignments, thumbstick sensitivity, and trigger response through Razer Synapse or the Razer PS mobile app. Custom configurations can also be saved to onboard profiles.

Razer is including several accessories with the Signature Edition, including a premium leatherette carrying case, short convex and tall concave thumbstick caps, four interchangeable back button covers, and an anodized aluminium replacement tool. The package also includes a Razer HyperSpeed Wireless dongle and a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable for wireless and wired connectivity.

With its magnesium alloy construction, TMR thumbsticks, extensive customization options, and limited production run, the Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition targets PlayStation 5 and PC players looking for a premium competitive gaming controller. The initial production run is restricted to 1,337 individually numbered units.
