RAWM Announces LEVIATHAN V4 GT With Optical + Magnetic Switches and 8K Wireless

If you are looking for a lightweight gaming mouse that does more than simply chase a lower weight figure, RAWM‘s upcoming LEVIATHAN V4 GT is one to watch. The new wireless gaming mouse combines optical and magnetic switches, dual Nordic nRF54-series chips, up to 8K polling over wired and wireless connections, and a roughly 54-gram design. RAWM has confirmed that pre-orders will open on August 25, 2026, although the company has yet to reveal the final retail price.

The LEVIATHAN V4 GT is built around what RAWM calls a dual-mode optical and magnetic switch system. Instead of sticking with one switch technology, the mouse gives users access to both approaches, potentially making it more flexible for competitive gaming and everyday use. RAWM is also using a next-generation optical encoder wheel, which should help provide consistent scrolling while avoiding some of the long-term wear associated with conventional mechanical encoders.

Wireless performance is another major part of the package. The mouse uses dual Nordic nRF54-series chips alongside the company’s second-generation RAWMSPEED wireless technology. RAWM lists support for up to 8,000Hz polling in both wired and wireless modes, while its specifications also mention more than 20,000 FPS tracking performance. For competitive players, the high polling rate is intended to provide more frequent position updates between the mouse and PC.

The approximately 54g weight includes the supplied large PTFE skates. RAWM has built the mouse around an ultra-rigid whale-bone chassis, using a skeletal internal structure to reduce unnecessary material while keeping the body rigid. The mouse also features custom-tuned dual-layer PTFE skates and a sweat-resistant, non-slip grip surface.

RAWM will handle customization through RAWMHUB 3.0, with options including angle tuning and scroll-wheel hysteresis adjustments. While pricing remains undisclosed, the LEVIATHAN V4 GT is clearly aimed at the growing enthusiast gaming mouse market, where weight, wireless latency, switch technology, and sensor performance are all major selling points.
