Qwertykeys has announced two new mechanical keyboards, the Neo98 and Neo75, marking the company’s next major release following the launch of the QK65 Mk3. These new models expand the brand’s focus on premium aluminium keyboards, offering more layout choices for both productivity users and those who prefer compact designs. Pre-orders for both models are scheduled to begin on January 5, 2026.

The Neo98 is designed around an 1800 layout, a format that keeps the number pad and navigation keys while reducing the overall footprint compared to a full-size board. The layout includes spacing between the typing area, arrow keys, and the number pad, which helps maintain a familiar structure. The navigation cluster above the arrow keys includes four keys, and the right Shift key is shorter than on standard full-size layouts. Despite the compact shape, users still get a full-size zero key on the number pad, which is important for data-entry tasks and general workflow efficiency.

The Neo75 offers a traditional 75% layout, one of the most popular compact formats among mechanical keyboard users. It includes the function row, arrow keys, and a condensed navigation area while keeping the design smaller than a tenkeyless keyboard. This size strikes a balance between usability and desk space, making it suitable for both office and home setups.

Both the Neo98 and Neo75 share a common construction approach. Each model features a full-aluminium case, an acoustic chamber integrated into the bottom housing, and a complete set of sound-dampening materials. These include plate foam, poron case foam, and an IXPE switch sheet, all aimed at improving the typing sound profile out of the box.
Qwertykeys is offering three mounting configurations for both keyboards. Two gasket-mount options are available, one using silicone foam and the other using Poron foam. Users who prefer a firmer and more direct typing feel can choose the top-mount option. The company is also providing two plate materials—aluminium for a sharper sound and PP for a softer, more flexible typing experience.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB-C wired support. The wireless modes are powered by dual 2,200 mAh batteries. While battery life estimates have not been shared, the dual-cell setup suggests the keyboards are designed for extended wireless use.
The keyboards will be sold in seven anodized color combinations. Options include teal with silver, slate blue with silver, taupe gray with warm silver, orange with silver, dusty rose with plum, black with light gray, and anodized silver with light gray. These variations give users a broad set of aesthetic choices without requiring custom modifications.
Qwertykeys has not yet provided pricing details for the Neo98 and Neo75. Additional information is expected ahead of the January 2026 pre-order window.
