Pulsar X2N Gaming Mouse Surfaces in FCC Leak Ahead of US Launch

A new FCC filing has revealed images of what appears to be Pulsar’s next gaming mouse, the X2N, which looks set to expand the company’s X2 lineup in the United States. The filing includes multiple angles of the mouse as well as details on a redesigned wireless receiver, suggesting the launch is moving closer.

The leaked images show that the X2N will adopt a slightly different shape compared to the existing X2 and X2H models. The mouse features a taller hump positioned further forward, while the rear section flares outward more than earlier versions. Alternatively, the front appears to taper more narrowly, which could explain the “N” designation in its name.

FCC documents also indicate multiple versions of the device, pointing to several sizes and color options at launch.

Alongside the mouse, the filing includes images of a new puck-shaped receiver. The receiver design incorporates both DPI and polling rate controls directly on the unit, with an LED indicator to display the active polling rate. It is not yet confirmed if this accessory will ship with the mouse or be offered separately.

While the FCC filing does not confirm specifications, the X2N is expected to retain the same hardware as other Pulsar X2 models. This likely includes optical switches, the XS-1 sensor with up to 32,000 DPI, and support for 8 kHz polling rates.

Pricing and release information have not yet been announced. With the FCC approval process underway, the X2N is expected to arrive in the US market in the near future.
