Pulsar Lab X-PAD mini Launches With Magnetic Switches, LCD Display, and 8KHz Polling Rate

Pulsar Gaming Gears has launched the new Pulsar Lab X-PAD mini, a compact multi-functional keyboard designed for gamers who want additional controls without adding a full-size keyboard to their setup. The small input device combines magnetic switches, programmable controls, a display panel, and RGB lighting to provide extra flexibility for gaming and everyday use.

The Pulsar Lab X-PAD mini comes with three large magnetic switches, one rotary knob, two auxiliary buttons, an LCD display, and an ARGB LED ambient light strip placed on the top side. This layout gives users access to commonly used commands, adjustments, and shortcuts without needing to move between different devices.

The device supports a 100kHz key scan rate and an 8kHz polling rate, allowing it to register inputs quickly. These specifications are aimed at competitive gamers who rely on fast responses during gameplay. The higher polling rate helps reduce input delay by allowing the device to communicate with the system more frequently.

The Pulsar Lab X-PAD mini uses Pulsar Gravity-S01 magnetic switches, which offer an initial actuation force of 40±5gf and a total travel distance of 4.0±0.3mm. Since the switches use magnetic sensing technology, users can adjust the trigger points according to their preference. This allows for different activation settings depending on the game or application.

Key features of the Pulsar Lab X-PAD mini include:

  • Three large magnetic switches with adjustable trigger points
  • Pulsar Gravity-S01 switches with 40±5gf actuation force
  • Support for Rapid Trigger and quick touch functions
  • 100kHz key scan rate and 8KHz polling rate
  • Rotary knob and two additional programmable buttons
  • Built-in LCD display for extra information
  • ARGB LED ambient lighting strip
  • Joystick mode support for compatible games
  • PBT double-shot injection molded keycaps

The X-PAD mini also includes a joystick mode, allowing users to configure the magnetic controls for games that support joystick-style input. This can be useful for titles where analog-style controls provide more flexibility.

Pulsar has also equipped the device with PBT double-shot injection-molded keycaps. These keycaps are designed for long-term use and help maintain the legends and surface texture after extended gaming sessions.

With its small footprint and multiple control options, the Pulsar Lab X-PAD mini is aimed at users who want more customization from their gaming setup. The combination of magnetic switches, adjustable input settings, and additional controls makes it a practical accessory for players who need extra commands within easy reach.
