Phanteks introduced several new PC case designs at COMPUTEX 2025 in Taipei, including fresh additions to its Matrix series and updates to existing models. The company’s latest lineup reflects a growing focus on visual customization, offering improved aesthetics while maintaining a focus on practical system-building features.

Leading the showcase is the Evolv X2 Matrix, a new variant of the Evolv X2 chassis. The Evolv X2 Matrix incorporates a fabric surface finish on the upper and lower fan trays, replacing the brushed metal used in the standard version. The key highlight of this model is its Matrix LED display, located on the front-left side of the lower tray. This area houses over 900 individually controllable LEDs. The lighting array supports user-defined animations and visual effects, offering more customization without relying on heavy external software.

The fabric-covered surface is not just a design change—it also helps diffuse the lighting to produce a softer and more uniform glow, which some users may find more appealing than traditional sharp RGB elements. This version of the case will be priced at $199, placing it $50 above the original Evolv X2.

Phanteks is also extending the Matrix lighting concept to the XT View chassis. The XT View Matrix variant keeps the core structure of the original panoramic glass chassis but introduces a smaller Matrix display. The LED array here is located on the lower left side of the case and includes more than 600 LEDs. While this is fewer than in the Evolv X2 Matrix, it still provides the same customizable lighting capabilities. The XT View Matrix will retail for $119.

Both the Evolv X2 and XT View Matrix versions are designed for users looking to add a unique touch to their PC builds, with the option to program visual elements or display patterns to complement their overall setup.

For builders focused on performance and value, Phanteks also introduced the Eclipse G370a. This case is positioned toward system integrators and budget-conscious users. It supports up to a 360mm radiator in the front and comes equipped with three pre-installed 120mm RGB fans. Despite the included features, the G370a is priced competitively at $59, making it one of the more affordable options in Phanteks’ updated range.
With these updates, Phanteks continues to expand its offerings to cover a wider spectrum of users, from enthusiasts looking for visual customization to builders focused on affordability and cooling performance. The company’s COMPUTEX 2025 lineup highlights its ongoing efforts to balance design, functionality, and cost across its product range.
