A 310-gram desktop can now offer the kind of connectivity and storage expansion that was once reserved for much larger PCs. PELADN has started selling its WO5 304 mini PC, a compact system built around Intel’s Core 3 304 processor and designed for users who want a small desktop without giving up fast ports or upgrade options.
The PELADN WO5 304 measures just 116 × 106 × 37.5mm, making it small enough for compact workspaces and desk setups where a conventional desktop would take up considerably more room. The system comes with 12GB of onboard LPDDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD, giving users a ready-to-use configuration out of the box.
Storage expansion is one of the more interesting parts of the WO5 304. PELADN has included two M.2 2280 slots with PCIe Gen4 ×2 interfaces, allowing users to add additional NVMe SSD storage. This gives the mini PC more flexibility for larger software libraries, media files, games, or other data without depending entirely on external drives.
The small chassis also houses a dual heat-pipe cooling system paired with a turbine fan. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, while wired networking is handled by a 2.5GbE RJ45 port. The faster Ethernet connection can be useful for transferring large files across a compatible local network or connecting the mini PC to a high-speed home or office network.
PELADN has also equipped the WO5 304 with a wide selection of ports. The system features one full-function USB-C port capable of up to 40Gbps, three USB-A ports rated at 10Gbps, and another USB-A port operating at 480Mbps. Display connectivity comes from two HDMI 2.0 ports, while a 3.5mm 2-in-1 audio jack handles headset and microphone connections.
