A new wave of benchmark listings has uncovered an upcoming handheld gaming device from OneXPlayer that appears to be in the early testing phase. The model, listed as OneXPlayer X1 i, surfaced across several Geekbench entries on December 5. These results were flagged by well-known hardware trackers Gray and Olrak29, indicating that OneXPlayer is evaluating prototypes equipped with next-generation Intel hardware.
This development is notable because OneXPlayer has consistently released handhelds built around AMD APUs. The newly discovered data, however, points to the company experimenting with Intel’s Core Ultra 5 338H, part of the upcoming “Panther Lake” series. If these findings hold true, OneXPlayer could be preparing its first major shift in processor choice for future models.
The Geekbench 6.5 test results provide several technical specifications for the Core Ultra 5 338H. According to the entries, this processor features a 12-core design, including a mix of four Performance cores, four Efficient cores, and four Low Power-Efficient cores. The chip is listed with a maximum clock speed of 4.7 GHz, along with 18 MB of shared L3 cache.
This configuration matches information from earlier leaks that outlined a similar hybrid core structure within the Panther Lake mobile lineup. Intel’s continued refinement of its hybrid architecture suggests that the Core Ultra 5 338H is positioned as a mid-tier processor within the upcoming family.
Alongside the CPU findings, a separate discovery by leaker momomo_us indicates that the processor includes an Arc B370 integrated GPU. Based on early data, this graphics unit is believed to use 10 cores built on Intel’s Xe3 “Celestial” architecture. This would mark an early appearance of Intel’s next-generation iGPU technology, which aims to improve performance efficiency in compact devices such as handheld gaming PCs.
Additional information from mid-November FurMark logs also points to the same GPU architecture being tested in pre-release systems. These signs indicate that Intel is preparing its Celestial-based solutions for the next phase of mobile computing, and OneXPlayer may be one of the first manufacturers to adopt them.
The emergence of the OneXPlayer X1 i suggests that the company may be broadening its hardware partnerships. Choosing Intel’s Panther Lake platform would offer an alternative to its usual AMD-based designs, potentially giving users more configuration options in future product cycles.
While benchmark leaks can only offer a limited view, they provide a clear indication that OneXPlayer is actively exploring new platforms ahead of official announcements.
