NEOWIZ has officially confirmed that a sequel to Lies of P is currently in full-scale development. The update comes from the company’s Q1 2026 earnings report, which also outlines several new projects and long-term publishing plans for PC and console platforms.
Although development is progressing, the sequel still appears to be in an early stage of production. Parts of the report describe the game as being in “vertical slice” development, a stage where studios create a small but polished portion of the game to define gameplay systems, visual quality, and overall direction before full production expands across the project.
Released in 2023, Lies of P became one of the more successful souls-like action RPGs outside of FromSoftware’s lineup. Developed by Round8 Studio, the title gained attention for its dark adaptation of the Pinocchio story, fast-paced combat mechanics, and detailed world design. The game also helped establish NEOWIZ as a stronger presence in the global AAA gaming market.
The earnings report additionally highlights new hiring efforts connected to the sequel. A recent job listing on the company’s official website describes a role in Round8’s art department focused on leveraging generative AI to improve art production efficiency and visual quality during development.
While the listing does not explain how the technology may affect final in-game assets, it suggests the studio is exploring AI-assisted workflows as part of its future production pipeline.
Outside of Lies of P, NEOWIZ also revealed two unannounced RPG projects currently in the prototype phase. One of the titles, known internally as Project Windi, is described as a souls-like RPG. The second project is reportedly a narrative-driven RPG experience. Both titles are planned for release on consoles and PC platforms.
The company also shared an update on Goodbye Seoul: Itaewon, an upcoming puzzle-platformer developed by Jino Games and published by NEOWIZ. The game is currently scheduled for a PC release during the second half of 2026.
According to the report, NEOWIZ plans to continue expanding its portfolio with new intellectual properties across several genres, including action, social simulation, and mystery-focused games.
With Lies of P becoming one of the company’s most recognized releases in recent years, expectations around the sequel are already building, even though a release window or gameplay reveal has yet to be announced.
