MSI has officially announced the release date of its new graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB VENTUS 3X PZ, which will be available starting October 24. The graphics card recently appeared on JD.com, listed at 7,499 yuan, with an introductory launch offer of 7,099 yuan, approximately $975 USD.
The RTX 5070 Ti 16GB VENTUS 3X PZ is MSI’s first graphics card to feature a rear-slot connector layout, part of the company’s PROJECT ZERO initiative. This design shifts the power and signal connectors to the rear side of the card, allowing cables to be routed behind the motherboard tray. The purpose is to provide a cleaner internal layout, reduce visible wiring, and improve overall cable management inside PC cases.

By concealing the cables and power connectors, the new design contributes to a neater build aesthetic, which has become increasingly important as modern PC cases emphasize visibility through tempered glass panels. It also helps improve internal airflow by removing obstructions that often occur with traditional cable placements.
To enhance the user installation experience, MSI has integrated a metal magnetic backplate on the RTX 5070 Ti VENTUS 3X PZ. The backplate improves rigidity and protection while also making installation easier. The magnetic design allows the plate to align precisely during assembly, ensuring a firm and reliable attachment that maintains structural stability over time.
For cooling, the graphics card features MSI’s TORX FAN 5.0 triple-fan system, designed to deliver balanced airflow and efficient heat dissipation. Beneath the cooling shroud lies a nickel-plated copper baseplate connected to a central square heat pipe, which transfers heat evenly from the GPU core to the fin array. This combination aims to maintain consistent temperatures even under heavy gaming or rendering workloads.

The card’s physical dimensions measure 303 × 121 × 49 mm, and it meets Nvidia’s SFF-Ready specifications. This means it can be installed in a wide range of PC builds, including compact systems, without sacrificing cooling efficiency or stability.
Although MSI has not yet announced global availability, the initial release in China indicates that the company is moving toward a broader adoption of rear-connector designs across its future GPU lineup. The Project Zero concept first appeared in MSI’s motherboards earlier this year, and its expansion to graphics cards suggests a unified design approach focusing on simplified cable routing and cleaner aesthetics.
The MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB VENTUS 3X PZ will officially go on sale in China on October 24, priced from 7,099 yuan ($975 USD). Wider regional availability and partner listings are expected to follow in the coming weeks.
