MONTECH has introduced two new mid-tower PC cases, the HS01 and HS02, designed to offer flexibility, clean aesthetics, and support for a range of hardware configurations. Both cases follow the same internal structure and dimensions, but with different exterior styling to cater to varied design preferences.
A key highlight of both models is their reversible internal layout. The inverted structure allows users to switch between a traditional left-side transparent panel and a right-side transparent configuration. This means the motherboard can be mounted in a flipped orientation, depending on how the user wants to showcase their components. This flexibility is useful for custom builds and helps adapt to different desk setups.
The HS01 model comes with a front panel made of metal mesh, which enhances airflow and provides an extra fan mounting position at the front. Its left side features a tempered glass panel for component visibility. In contrast, the HS02 is designed with a more premium appearance, using a curved glass front panel with an 8-degree angle, aiming for a more refined look without compromising on airflow or component access.
Both models support standard ATX motherboards and rear-connector motherboards, which are becoming more common in newer designs for improved cable management. The cases are also equipped with rotatable PCIe slots, enabling vertical GPU installation. This feature allows users to highlight their graphics card and improves compatibility with a wider range of cooling and cable layouts.
MONTECH has also focused on a clean internal presentation. The motherboard tray, bottom fan mount, and rear fan area use an embedded design, contributing to a more organized internal structure. The rear-mounted fan is positioned externally on the left side, which increases the cooling efficiency by drawing hot air more directly out of the case.
Connectivity is placed at the bottom front of the case when used in its standard orientation. The I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (5 Gbps), one USB Type-C port, and separate 3.5mm jacks for audio output and microphone input. This setup provides modern connectivity without cluttering the top or front face of the case.
The MONTECH HS01 and HS02 are aimed at PC builders looking for flexibility in layout and a balance between airflow and aesthetics. Both cases maintain compatibility with full-size ATX hardware, vertical GPUs and offer clear cable management routes.
