Reikon Games and publisher Deep Silver have announced a new release date for Metal Eden. The sci-fi action first-person shooter will officially launch on September 2, 2025, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game was initially planned to arrive on May 6, 2025. In preparation for that release, a playable demo was made available to the public, offering a preview of the gameplay. However, just over a week after the demo’s launch, the developers delayed the game and pushed its release to a general summer 2025 window.
According to Reikon Games, the delay was a direct response to feedback from players who tried the demo. The studio stated that it identified several areas in need of improvement and decided to take extra time to polish the game. Among the adjustments were refinements to gameplay systems and performance optimizations, ensuring that the final release would meet the expectations set by early impressions.
Now, with less than a month until launch, the developers have confirmed that the adjustments are complete. By setting a firm September release date, Reikon Games is signaling confidence that Metal Eden is ready for players across all platforms.
Metal Eden will bring players into a futuristic setting filled with action-driven combat, narrative elements, and exploration. With support for modern hardware on both consoles and PC, the game is expected to make use of the latest generation of technology to deliver its vision.
With the launch date set, fans can now look forward to September for the full release of Metal Eden on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
