KLEVV Unveils CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5 Memory With AMD EXPO ULL Support

KLEVV, the consumer memory and storage brand introduced by Essencore, has announced the CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5 Gaming/OC memory series. The new DDR5 lineup targets gaming PCs and high-performance desktop systems, offering speeds of up to 8000 MT/s alongside low-latency configurations starting at CL26. It also introduces a black-and-gold finish to the CRAS V RGB family, combining an updated appearance with support for Intel and AMD memory overclocking profiles.

The CRAS V RGB PRIME will be available in three speed configurations: 6000 MT/s, 6400 MT/s, and 8000 MT/s. The 6000 MT/s model uses timings of 26-36-36-76, while the 6400 MT/s version operates at 28-38-38-78. The 8000 MT/s configuration features timings of 38-48-48-128. All models are tested at 1.4V.

KLEVV will offer the 6000 MT/s and 6400 MT/s variants in 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB dual-channel kits. The 8000 MT/s versions will be available in 32 GB and 48 GB configurations, giving buyers several options depending on their performance and capacity requirements.

A key feature is support for AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency (ULL). The 32 GB kits running at 6000 MT/s and 6400 MT/s are certified for this technology, which uses optimized memory subtimings to reduce latency on compatible AMD platforms. According to AMD, certified ULL memory can deliver an average 4% improvement in FPS compared with non-ULL AMD EXPO memory on compatible systems. Actual performance will vary depending on the hardware configuration and workload.

The memory also supports Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles, allowing users to enable the advertised memory settings through the BIOS on compatible motherboards. KLEVV lists support for AMD Ryzen processors on the AM5 platform and Intel Core Ultra 200S Plus processors.

The updated design features an aluminium heat spreader with a black-and-gold finish created through hard anodizing and specialized surface treatment. Under the heat spreader, the modules use memory ICs from a leading Korean manufacturer, a 10-layer PCB, an integrated power management IC (PMIC), and on-die ECC technology. KLEVV says the memory has also been validated on the qualified vendor lists of four major motherboard manufacturers.

RGB lighting is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync, allowing users to coordinate the memory’s lighting with supported components. KLEVV has not announced pricing or retail availability for the CRAS V RGB PRIME. The new series joins the company’s existing CRAS, URBANE, BOLT, and FIT DDR5 memory families.
