Tripwire Interactive has officially confirmed a new release date for Killing Floor 3, the next entry in the long-running co-op shooter series. The game is now scheduled to launch globally on July 24, 2025. It will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Originally set for a March 25 release, the game was delayed earlier this year to allow the development team more time to respond to player feedback. Since then, Tripwire has been sharing progress updates with the community through developer blogs and social media. These updates have included previews of in-game assets, user interface improvements, animation enhancements, and gameplay refinements based on community suggestions.
Digital pre-orders for Killing Floor 3 have now resumed and are live across platform storefronts. The game is being offered in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and the Elite Nightfall Edition. Each version includes different sets of bonuses, with more details available on their respective digital store listings.
According to Bryan Wynia, Creative Director at Tripwire Interactive, the team has been focused on using the additional development time to improve the overall experience based on player input. He noted that the studio remains committed to long-term support for the title, including new features and post-launch content.

Set in the year 2091, Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. The game introduces a new setting where the Horzine megacorporation has created a massive army of bio-engineered creatures known as Zeds. Players assume the role of Nightfall operatives, a rebel group fighting back against Horzine’s growing threat. The gameplay focuses on co-operative combat, with teams of up to six players working together to survive wave-based battles, upgrade their loadouts, and develop unique character skills.

Tripwire is continuing to provide regular development updates and encourages fans to follow the official forums and social media channels for the latest news. The studio has emphasized transparency throughout the process and has stated that community input remains a key part of the development strategy moving forward.
Killing Floor 3 is being developed and published internally by Tripwire Interactive. With the new launch date confirmed, the studio is entering the final phase of development ahead of the game’s summer release.
