Keychron Launches BM27 Ergonomic Wireless Mouse With Silent Switches For $34.99

Keychron has expanded its accessory lineup with the launch of the BM27, a wireless ergonomic mouse designed for productivity users who want a more comfortable experience during long working hours. Unlike the company’s recent gaming-focused releases, the BM27 targets office professionals, students, and remote workers by combining an ergonomic shape, quiet operation, and flexible connectivity at an affordable price. The mouse is now available through Keychron’s online store for $34.99.

The BM27 features a 55-degree vertical ergonomic design that helps place the wrist in a more natural position, which may reduce fatigue during extended daily use. Keychron has also equipped every button with silent micro switches, making the mouse suitable for quiet environments such as offices, libraries, classrooms, and shared workspaces where loud clicking can become distracting.

Users also get six programmable buttons for customizing shortcuts and improving workflow efficiency. Along with the standard left, right, and middle click buttons, the BM27 includes one button behind the scroll wheel and two thumb buttons on the left side. All programmable buttons can be customized using the Keychron Launcher software, allowing users to assign different commands depending on their workflow.

The mouse is powered by the PixArt PAW3212 optical sensor, offering up to 2,400 DPI sensitivity, tracking speeds of up to 30 IPS, and a polling rate of 1,000 Hz. These specifications are suitable for general computing, document editing, web browsing, and creative work. While the sensor is not designed for competitive gaming, it provides reliable tracking for everyday productivity tasks.

The BM27 supports Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and wired USB Type-C modes, allowing users to switch between desktops, laptops, and tablets with ease. Keychron includes both USB Type-A and USB Type-C wireless receivers in the package, making the mouse compatible with both older computers and newer devices that only feature USB-C ports. The Type-A receiver can also be stored inside a dedicated compartment underneath the mouse when not in use.

Powering the BM27 is a built-in 500mAh rechargeable battery, which Keychron says can deliver up to 100 hours of usage when connected over Bluetooth. This should be enough for several days or even weeks of regular office work before requiring a recharge, depending on usage habits.

The BM27 measures 111.61 × 83.91 × 66.57 mm and weighs 99 grams. Although heavier than many lightweight gaming mice, the extra weight complements its ergonomic design for office use. The mouse is currently available in a Space Gray finish with a soft-touch UV coating that provides a comfortable grip during extended sessions.
