Jackery has launched the HomePower 1000 Plus V2, a new portable power station designed for home backup, outdoor work, camping, and other situations where access to the electrical grid is limited. The system combines a 1,024Wh battery with 1,800W of continuous output and supports modular expansion up to 11kWh.
The HomePower 1000 Plus V2 is available in black and white and is designed to sit between traditional portable power stations and larger residential energy storage systems. Jackery is targeting users who want additional backup capacity without moving directly to a permanently installed home battery system.


The power station provides 1,800W of rated output and up to 3,600W of peak power through four pure sine-wave AC outlets. This gives it enough capacity for a range of household appliances, power tools, computers, and other equipment. The system also includes a 140W USB-C Power Delivery port, a 30W USB-C port, an 18W USB-A port, and a 12V/10A automotive-style output.
According to the company, standard AC charging can bring the battery to 80% in 36 minutes, while AC flash charging can fully recharge the unit in around 50 minutes. Hybrid AC and DC charging reduces the claimed full-charge time to approximately 47 minutes. The dual DC inputs can also accept up to 400W from solar panels or a DC-DC alternator setup, with a full solar recharge taking as little as 2 hours and 43 minutes under suitable conditions.

For home backup applications, the HomePower 1000 Plus V2 includes a built-in UPS system with a transfer time of 10 milliseconds or less. Jackery says this allows devices such as desktop PCs, Wi-Fi routers, and refrigerators to remain powered during interruptions without requiring a restart. The system also includes 3kV/1000J surge protection.
The accompanying mobile app allows users to manage power distribution and prioritize selected circuits. When battery capacity becomes limited, lower-priority circuits can be disconnected so that remaining power is reserved for more important equipment. Jackery also supports Time-of-Use peak shaving, which can schedule charging during off-peak periods and preserve stored energy for higher-cost periods.


The HomePower 1000 Plus V2 uses LiFePO4 battery cells rated to retain at least 70% of their original capacity after 6,000 charge cycles. Jackery estimates an operating lifespan of around 16 years based on one complete charge and discharge cycle each day.
The battery uses an automotive-grade Cell-to-Body construction and is housed in a chassis measuring 12.4 × 7.9 × 9.2 inches. The unit weighs 23.8 pounds and can be charged at temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C), making it suitable for outdoor use in colder environments.
Jackery says the 1,024Wh capacity can keep a standard refrigerator running for up to 19 hours, although actual runtime will depend on the appliance’s power consumption. The 1,800W output also allows the system to handle various power tools and mobile workstations without the fuel and exhaust associated with conventional gas generators.


The modular battery design is one of the main features of the HomePower 1000 Plus V2. Users can start with the 1,024Wh base unit and add 2kWh expansion batteries over time, eventually reaching a maximum capacity of 11kWh. This makes the system suitable for users who initially need portable backup power but may require additional storage later.

The Jackery HomePower 1000 Plus V2 is available now through Amazon and Jackery with an MSRP of $749. As part of the launch promotion, the company is offering the unit for $619 from August 27 through September 3. Each unit includes Jackery’s standard five-year manufacturer warranty.
