IPI Haze X Mouse Teased With PAW3955 Sensor, Rapid Trigger, and Magnetic Charging Dock

IPI has released a new teaser for its upcoming Haze X gaming mouse, giving a closer look at the hardware and features planned for the Gaming Mouse. The announcement follows an earlier preview shared a few days ago, with the company now highlighting key components aimed at competitive gaming.

The Haze X uses a Nordic nRF54 series SoC, a newer wireless platform designed to improve efficiency and lower latency compared to older solutions. This points to a focus on consistent wireless performance, which is especially important for esports-oriented gear.

The mouse will also feature PixArt’s PAW3955 optical sensor. While detailed specifications have not been confirmed, this sensor is part of PixArt’s latest lineup and is expected to offer high tracking accuracy, better surface compatibility, and consistent performance across different sensitivity levels. This puts the Haze X in line with other recent flagship gaming mice.

IPI’s teaser also mentions “linear motor, RT 0.1MM,” pointing to Rapid Trigger support. This feature reduces the reset distance for clicks, allowing faster repeated inputs. It is especially useful in fast-paced titles where quick response times can make a difference. The reference to a linear motor suggests a more refined click feel compared to traditional mechanical switches.

There are also indications that the Haze X may use an analog-style button input system for the left and right clicks, similar to designs seen in newer high-end models such as the Logitech PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. This type of implementation can allow more precise actuation control instead of relying on fixed switch points.

Another highlight is the inclusion of a magnetic wireless charging dock. This adds convenience for users who prefer a cable-free setup, while also keeping the mouse ready for extended sessions without manual charging.

IPI has not yet confirmed pricing or availability, but the Haze X appears to be aimed at the premium wireless gaming segment. More details are expected in the coming weeks as the company moves closer to launch.
