HYTE has officially announced the general availability of its new X50 and X50 Air Modern Performance Cases. The PC cases, which debuted at Computex 2025, are now available for purchase on HYTE.com and through leading online retailers in the United States. The X50 lineup focuses on combining premium materials with a practical design aimed at both PC builders and gamers who value efficient airflow and ease of installation.
The X50 and X50 Air are designed with a fully rounded exterior, a departure from conventional sharp-edged chassis designs. This construction not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to a smoother assembly process. HYTE has implemented several key airflow improvements, including a Full-Coverage Micro-Mesh front panel designed for optimal intake efficiency and reduced pressure drop. The rear of the case features HYTE’s patent-pending Louvered Blade Ventilation system, which minimizes exhaust resistance while strengthening the case structure.
Another notable element of the X50 design is the top-mounted power supply unit (PSU) canopy. This layout uses the PSU’s fan as part of the system’s exhaust configuration, which helps maintain cleaner internal airflow paths while simplifying cable management. The case supports large cooling setups with mounting locations for up to two 360 mm radiators and space for up to ten fans. For high-performance builds, users can also install three extra-thick 120 mm fans at the bottom to deliver direct airflow to the graphics card.
Both models feature a durable 1 mm-thick steel frame built with automotive-grade tooling, offering four times tighter tolerances compared to traditional PC cases. HYTE’s design approach provides rigidity and precision, allowing the company to achieve the case’s signature curved edges. The tool-less front and side panels, hidden cable channels, and open interior layout make the assembly process accessible to both new and experienced builders.
The X50 model features a 4 mm laminated acoustic glass side panel that combines sound reduction with visual clarity, ideal for users who prefer to showcase their components. The X50 Air replaces this panel with a curved Full-Coverage Micro-Mesh version to increase ventilation. In terms of color options, the X50 is available in Snow White, Pitch Black, Wild Cherry, Taro Milk, Strawberry Milk, and Matcha Milk, while the X50 Air comes in Snow White and Pitch Black finishes.
In addition to retail availability, HYTE has partnered with iBUYPOWER to include the X50 as a selectable option for custom PC configurations. This collaboration allows users to integrate the X50 case into prebuilt systems through iBUYPOWER’s Custom PC Configurator and PC Lab service.
The HYTE X50 Modern Performance Case is now available at an MSRP of $159.99, while the X50 Air is priced at $129.99. Both models can be purchased directly from HYTE.com and most authorized online retailers in the United States.
