HP has announced new additions to its HyperX lineup, introducing fresh hardware and software updates aimed at improving control, comfort, and customization across gaming platforms. The update includes the HyperX Clutch Talon controller, the Cloud Stinger 3 headset family, and a refreshed version of HyperX NGENUITY.
The company positions this release as part of its ongoing effort to refine the player experience through a mix of hardware flexibility and software-level tuning. With support spanning PC, console, and mobile devices, the new products focus on adaptability for different playstyles.
Clutch Talon Controller Brings Modular Design
The HyperX Clutch Talon controller introduces a modular approach, allowing users to swap out sticks, D-pads, triggers, and rear paddles without tools. This design gives players more control over how inputs are configured, with added support for 3D-printable components to extend customization further.

To improve input accuracy, the controller uses Hall Effect sensors in both sticks and triggers. This setup helps reduce wear-related drift and keeps movement consistent over time. Additional features include adjustable trigger locks and programmable back paddles aimed at competitive gameplay.

The controller supports dual wireless connectivity and works across PC, Android, and Xbox platforms. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours, depending on usage.
Cloud Stinger 3 Focuses on Comfort and Versatility
HP is also expanding its headset lineup with the HyperX Cloud Stinger 3 and CloudX Stinger 3. These models are built around long-session comfort, featuring a lightweight frame, memory foam ear cushions, and adjustable steel headband sliders.

The wireless version supports low-latency 2.4 GHz connectivity, along with Bluetooth for wider device compatibility. HP rates battery life at up to 80 hours, placing it among the longer-lasting wireless headsets in this category.
Both wired and wireless variants include a noise-cancelling microphone with a flip-to-mute function, offering consistent voice clarity during gameplay and communication.
NGENUITY Update Adds Deeper Control
The updated HyperX NGENUITY software moves out of its beta phase with expanded features for audio tuning and device control. The platform now includes parametric and graphic equalizers, game and chat balance adjustments, and spatial audio powered by HEAR360.

Microphone enhancements include real-time processing, voice monitoring, and AI-based noise reduction. On the control side, users can fine-tune actuation points, adjust trigger sensitivity, and configure macros and remapping through a redesigned interface.
HP notes that the software will continue to receive updates based on user feedback, with a focus on maintaining compatibility across its ecosystem.
Pricing and Availability
The HyperX Clutch Talon controller is expected to arrive this summer with a price of $159.99. The Cloud Stinger 3 headset series is available starting today, beginning at $49.99.
