Higround has released its second wave of SEGA co-branded peripherals, expanding its collaboration with the Japanese game publisher. The new lineup became available on December 12, local time, and includes a complete mechanical keyboard, a themed keycap set, and a large mousepad. The launch builds on the first SEGA collaboration and continues Higround’s focus on limited-edition designs tied to well-known gaming franchises.
This series is inspired by SEGA’s classic properties, with Sonic the Hedgehog and the Dreamcast console serving as the main design references. Visual elements such as color schemes, logos, and patterns reflect SEGA’s late-1990s era, a period closely associated with the Dreamcast and modern Sonic titles. The products are aimed at users who want gaming peripherals that reflect personal interests while still offering modern mechanical keyboard features.
Higround states that the keyboard uses a five-layer internal dampening structure designed to improve sound control, durability, and overall stability. These layers include switch dampening materials and a silicone case layer that adds weight to the chassis. The internal layout is intended to reduce vibration and create a more consistent typing experience across the entire keyboard, especially during extended use.
The keyboard comes equipped with TTC Neptune switches, which are linear and pre-lubed at the factory. Unlike many traditional switch designs, the Neptune switch uses guide rails that begin at the top housing. This construction is designed to limit stem wobble and provide smoother key travel, while also producing a softer and more controlled sound profile.
In addition to the keyboard, Higround is offering matching keycaps and a large mousepad that follow the same Sonic and Dreamcast themes. With this release, Higround continues to position branded collaborations as a central part of its product lineup, targeting gamers and collectors looking for themed mechanical peripherals.
