Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will officially open at midnight local time on June 25, giving players their first opportunity to secure a copy of one of the most anticipated games in recent years. The announcement also provides new details on the game’s Ultimate Edition, pre-order bonuses, and pre-loading plans ahead of its November launch.
Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be priced at $79.99 and will deliver a single-player experience set in what Rockstar describes as the biggest and most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series to date. Players will once again explore Vice City and the wider state of Leonida through the story of Jason and Lucia.
Alongside the standard edition, Rockstar will offer the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition for $99.99. This version includes an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and additional content integrated throughout the game’s story. The company says the extra content is designed to enhance various aspects of Jason and Lucia’s journey while providing additional customization options from the start.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be available through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, as well as retailers and digital storefronts worldwide. Pre-orders for both editions will begin at midnight local time on June 25.
Players who pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI or purchase the game before November 20 will also receive the Vintage Vice City Pack. The bonus pack pays tribute to the classic Vice City era and includes themed items inspired by the franchise’s iconic neon-soaked setting.

Players who choose a digital version will be able to pre-load the game starting November 12, one week before launch. Rockstar says this will allow players to install the game early and be ready to play as soon as it becomes available. Physical editions will also support pre-loading through a download code included inside the retail package.
The company is expected to share additional information about the Ultimate Edition and bonus content in the coming months as the November release date approaches. With pre-orders opening this week, Rockstar’s marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI is now entering its final phase before launch.
