Rockstar Games has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving players another look at Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, and the criminal world of Vice City ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026, release. The new trailer highlights the game’s setting, characters, action sequences, and music as Rockstar prepares for the next main entry in its long-running open-world franchise.
The game takes place in Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida, with Vice City serving as its central location. The story follows Jason and Lucia as they become involved in a criminal conspiracy that puts their relationship and future at risk. The latest trailer offers additional cinematic scenes featuring the pair, alongside vehicles, city streets, nightlife, and other locations across the game’s world.
Music also plays a role in the trailer’s presentation, helping establish the atmosphere of modern Vice City. Players can watch the full video through the official Rockstar Games Newswire.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not confirmed a PC release date. The game follows Grand Theft Auto V, which debuted in 2013 and became one of the most commercially successful video games of all time.
With the release date approaching, the launch trailer gives fans another preview of the characters and setting they will explore in November. Rockstar has yet to provide a complete breakdown of the game’s PC requirements, technical performance, or platform-specific features, leaving those details for a future announcement.
