GMKtec has officially announced its new NEO-X1 Series Gaming Desktop, bringing AMD’s Ryzen 9000HX “Fire Range” processors together with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series desktop graphics in a compact 14.6-liter chassis. The new lineup is designed for users who want desktop gaming performance without the size of a traditional tower.
The NEO-X1 series features an integrated liquid cooling solution and comes equipped with an 850W fully modular 80 Plus Gold power supply. According to GMKtec, the motherboard uses a 13-phase power delivery design capable of supporting up to 160W of processor power, allowing the Ryzen processors to operate at higher performance levels during demanding workloads.
Storage support includes two PCIe Gen5 M.2 SSD slots, giving users access to the latest high-speed NVMe drives. For networking, the desktop offers both 2.5GbE Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7, providing fast wired and wireless connectivity for gaming, streaming, and large file transfers.
GMKtec is launching two configurations in the NEO-X1 lineup.
The standard model features the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti desktop graphics card with 8GB of VRAM. This version starts at 11,999 yuan, which converts to approximately $1,670 USD based on current exchange rates.
The higher-end NEO-X1 Pro upgrades to the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with 3D V-Cache technology and includes the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 desktop graphics card with 12GB of VRAM. Pricing starts at 16,499 yuan, or approximately $2,300 USD.
GMKtec has confirmed that the NEO-X1 series will be sold through JD.com. However, the company has not yet revealed the memory configurations for either model, and the systems were not listed on the online retailer at the time of writing.
