GameSir Unveils New Tri-Mode Controller With Interactive Color Display, Adjustable Hall Effect Sticks, and 1kHz Polling

GameSir has announced a new gaming controller that expands on the design of the previously released Nova 2 Lite while introducing several hardware improvements aimed at both casual and competitive players. The new controller retains the same compact mold size as its predecessor but adds an integrated intelligent interactive color display, adjustable Hall-effect thumbsticks, upgraded triggers, and motion sensing support.

The controller features a built-in push-button intelligent interactive color screen that lets users check its operating status and adjust supported settings directly, without relying solely on companion software. Players can make changes in real time while keeping important controller information easily accessible on the display.

The analog sticks have also been upgraded with 30–80gf stepless adjustable Hall effect sensor technology. Players can customize the resistance of the thumbsticks based on their preferred feel or the type of game they are playing. Hall effect sensors have become increasingly popular because they use magnetic sensing instead of traditional mechanical contacts, helping reduce wear over time while minimizing the risk of stick drift.

GameSir has also equipped the controller with Hall effect and micro-switch dual-mode triggers. This design allows users to switch between analog trigger input for racing and simulation titles or faster digital input for genres where quick trigger response is preferred. Motion sensing support is included as well, allowing compatible games to take advantage of gyro-based controls.

The controller continues to support tri-mode connectivity, giving users multiple ways to connect across supported devices. USB-C wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes both support a 1,000Hz polling rate, helping deliver faster input reporting during gameplay. According to GameSir, wired joystick latency is rated at 2.8ms or lower, making the controller suitable for players who prioritize responsive controls.

Power comes from a built-in 1,000mAh rechargeable battery designed for extended wireless gaming sessions. GameSir also includes a 2.4GHz wireless receiver and a 1.8-meter USB-C cable in the box, allowing users to choose between wired and wireless play immediately after setup.
