GameSir Launches Nova 2 Lite Wireless Controller with Broad Compatibility and Pro-Level Features

GameSir has officially introduced the Nova 2 Lite, a wireless game controller aimed at delivering high-end performance in a versatile package. Designed to work across multiple platforms—including Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Android, iOS, and Steam—the Nova 2 Lite supports Bluetooth, wired, and 2.4 GHz wireless dongle connections. The controller is now available for pre-order on the GameSir website.

Developed in collaboration with professional fighting game player and brand ambassador XiaoHai, the Nova 2 Lite is built with competitive gameplay in mind. It features a set of performance-focused hardware updates intended to meet the needs of both casual players and serious competitors.

At the core of its design is a focus on responsive input. The controller incorporates a 1000 Hz polling rate, which ensures low input latency for more immediate reaction times during gameplay. In addition to standard face buttons and triggers, it includes a mechanical circular D-pad designed by XiaoHai. The D-pad is optimized for accurate directional input, which is especially beneficial for fighting games and titles requiring quick, multi-directional movements.

The Nova 2 Lite also features GameSir’s Hall Effect technology in both the analog sticks and triggers. This technology helps prevent stick drift and provides smooth, precise control. Anti-friction rings are included around the sticks to minimize wear and tear, improving overall durability. The analog triggers are tuned to deliver smooth actuation with consistent feedback, which is useful for racing games, shooters, and other genres that rely on precise control.

Another highlight of the controller is its adaptability. The Nova 2 Lite includes two-stage trigger stops, allowing users to quickly switch between shorter and longer trigger pull distances. This gives players the flexibility to tailor the controller’s feel to different types of games. Additionally, two programmable back buttons offer support for custom inputs or macros, providing more control customization without needing to access system menus mid-game.

Customization extends beyond the hardware with support from GameSir’s mobile app and PC software. Players can tweak settings such as dead zones, vibration levels, and button responses, as well as update firmware directly from the app. Many of these adjustments can also be made directly from the controller using button combinations, making it easier to fine-tune settings without leaving a session.

For added immersion, the Nova 2 Lite includes dual asymmetric rumble motors that deliver vibration feedback tuned for different intensities. From subtle in-game cues to more forceful impacts, the feedback aims to enhance the sense of immersion during play.

The controller includes a 600mAh rechargeable battery and is compatible with GameSir’s smart charging station, which supports auto start-stop charging. Players can pick up the controller to begin gaming and place it back on the dock to charge. The charging station is not bundled with the controller and is sold separately, though it is compatible with the dock used by GameSir’s Super Nova controller.

With its combination of high responsiveness, customization options, and broad device support, the GameSir Nova 2 Lite is positioned as a flexible controller for gamers looking to upgrade their experience. Pre-orders are currently open on the official GameSir website.
