Epomaker is adding another wireless gaming mouse to its growing peripherals lineup, and the new EM3 could be aimed at buyers looking for a relatively light mouse without moving into the higher price ranges of enthusiast models. The company has now shown the EM3 in an official unboxing livestream and published its key specifications ahead of the mouse’s launch. Pricing and the exact release date have not been confirmed yet, but the hardware gives a clear indication of where the EM3 will sit in Epomaker’s mouse lineup.
The EM3 weighs 56 grams and uses an ABS-carbon fiber composite shell. It has a symmetrical body measuring 121.2 × 63.9 × 37.3 mm, along with two programmable side buttons. The main buttons use Huano Blue Shell White Dot switches, while the scroll wheel is built around an F-switch encoder. During the livestream, Epomaker described the surface coating as slightly rough, with the presenter highlighting the additional grip it provides.
The mouse is powered by a PixArt PAW3315 sensor, which supports sensitivity up to 16,000 DPI, 30 G acceleration, and a maximum polling rate of 1,000 Hz. That puts the EM3 below many newer gaming mice that offer higher polling rates and more advanced sensors, but the specifications should still be suitable for general gaming, particularly if the final price is kept low.
Wireless connectivity includes both 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth. The included charging dock also works as the 2.4 GHz receiver, meaning users can keep the wireless receiver connected to the dock instead of having a separate receiver sitting on the desk. The dock also features customizable RGB edge lighting.
Epomaker has fitted the EM3 with a 600 mAh battery. According to the company, the mouse can provide around 50 hours of use with RGB lighting enabled and approximately 55 hours with the lighting disabled. Those figures are relatively modest considering the battery capacity, although actual runtime can vary depending on usage and lighting settings.
The company has not revealed the EM3’s launch price yet. With its 56-gram weight, dual wireless connectivity, charging dock, and PAW3315 sensor, the mouse appears to be positioned below Epomaker’s more performance-focused offerings. The final price will be important, particularly as the market already has several affordable wireless gaming mice with higher polling rates.
