Dareu has introduced an updated version of its AE7 wireless Gaming Mouse, bringing a new optical sensor while keeping the overall design and feature set of the original model. The refreshed AE7 replaces the AIM-750U sensor, which was based on the PixArt PAW3950, with the newer AIM-3955 PRO sensor. The new AE7 continues to use the Nordic nRF54H20 wireless SoC, allowing it to support dual 8,000Hz polling rates for both wired and wireless connections. This enables faster communication between the mouse and the PC, helping reduce input delay during gameplay. Dareu also lists a 20,000 FPS scan frame rate, along with a maximum tracking speed of 750 IPS and acceleration of up to 60G, making the mouse capable of handling fast movements across a wide range of gaming genres.

Dareu has retained Omron mechanical microswitches rated for up to 100 million clicks, providing long-term durability for the primary buttons. The mouse also features the company’s KBS Light constant-force button technology, which is designed to deliver a more consistent click feel by improving the internal button structure.

The Dareu AE7 Gaming Mouse also includes the “Flying Boat” dock, which combines magnetic wireless charging with a built-in 2.4GHz wireless receiver. It allows users to charge the mouse while serving as the wireless connection hub, helping reduce the number of separate accessories required on the desktop.

The external shape of the AE7 remains unchanged and continues to target right-handed users. The mouse includes guide grooves on the left and right buttons, a raised rear hump for additional palm support, and an extended curve along the left side of the rear shell. Dareu has also widened the spacing between the side buttons, making them easier to identify and press during gameplay. The overall design is intended to suit both claw grip and palm grip users.

Internally, the AE7 features a reinforced frame to improve structural stability. The outer shell is finished with an excimer laser-style coating that provides a smooth surface while helping resist wear from extended daily use.

Key specifications of the updated Dareu AE7 include:

  • AIM-3955 PRO optical sensor
  • Nordic nRF54H20 wireless SoC
