Dareu Reveals Flex87 Gaming Keyboard with 8K Wireless Polling and New Silicone Suspension Design

Dareu has announced the upcoming Flex87 mechanical keyboard, introducing a new internal mounting system designed to improve typing comfort and reduce vibration. The keyboard adopts a brand-new suspended Gasket structure that differs from conventional Gasket-mounted designs by providing more movement inside the chassis, giving users a softer and more responsive typing experience.

The Flex87 features an 87-key layout, making it a tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard that balances compact dimensions with a full set of essential keys for gaming and productivity. Alongside its new internal design, Dareu is also offering an optional Hollow switch and support for an 8,000Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes.

Instead of using a traditional Gasket mounting system, the Flex87 incorporates Dareu’s self-developed cloud wheel silicone cushioning layer. The keyboard also uses 12 highly elastic airbag silicone particles positioned around the edges and corners of the chassis.

This design suspends the internal assembly, allowing it to move more freely during key presses. According to Dareu, the additional deformation space creates a softer and more flexible typing feel while reducing vibration around the edge keys. As a result, typing consistency is improved across the keyboard, including keys located near the outer frame. The new structure is designed for users who prefer a cushioned typing experience without sacrificing overall stability

The Flex87 will also be available with Dareu’s optional Hollow switch, developed for users who enjoy a deeper typing sound. The switch features a specially designed noise-reducing bump on the bottom housing. This additional component helps minimize unwanted noise while producing a lower-pitched and more focused acoustic profile during typing. Mechanical keyboard enthusiasts continue to pay close attention to typing sound, and the Hollow switch gives buyers another option depending on their preferences.

In addition to its typing-focused design, the Flex87 also includes features aimed at gamers. The keyboard supports an 8,000Hz polling rate over both wired USB and 2.4GHz wireless connections. Dareu states that this enables a theoretical latency as low as 0.125ms, allowing input data to be transmitted more frequently than standard gaming keyboards. High polling rates have become increasingly common in gaming peripherals, particularly among competitive players looking for faster response times during gameplay.
