Company of Heroes 3 is getting a new standalone experience later this month as Relic Entertainment has officially announced Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand. The new title launches on July 29 for PC via Steam and introduces a wave defense mode built around the tactical gameplay that has defined the real-time strategy series for the past two decades. Unlike previous expansions, Final Stand is a separate release, allowing both newcomers and longtime fans to jump into the action without owning Company of Heroes 3 or any earlier game in the franchise.
Final Stand focuses on survival, requiring players to build defensive positions, manage resources, and adapt their strategy against increasingly difficult enemy attacks. Every match consists of 12 escalating waves, with powerful boss encounters and dynamic battlefield events designed to keep each run different. The game also includes roguelite progression, allowing players to unlock permanent upgrades that can be used in future matches, encouraging different tactical approaches over time.
Players can choose from four returning factions, including the US Forces, Wehrmacht, British Forces, and Deutsches Afrikakorps. Each faction comes with its own progression tree, abilities, and upgrades, offering different ways to approach combat. Whether playing alone or with friends in cooperative mode, success depends on careful planning, positioning, and making the right decisions as enemy forces become more challenging with every wave.

Relic is also including an Endless Mode for players looking to continue beyond the standard 12 rounds, providing an additional challenge once the main objective has been completed. The game launches at $29.99 USD, £23.99 GBP, and €28.99 EUR. Players purchasing the game during the launch period will receive a 10% discount, while existing Company of Heroes 3 owners can claim an additional 20% bundle discount.
