AMD’s high-memory Ryzen AI Max platform is beginning to reach more systems, and Colorful has introduced two new machines that put the company’s latest APUs into Mini PC and mobile workstation designs. The new Colorfire Lingchuang Mini Pro is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495, while the Lingchuang K16 uses the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and targets creators and professional users.
The Lingchuang Mini Pro could be the more interesting system for users working with large AI models and GPU-heavy applications. Colorful says the mini PC can be configured with up to 196 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory, with as much as 160 GB allocated to the Radeon 8065S integrated GPU. The system will also be available with 96 GB of unified memory as its starting configuration. Colorful has not yet announced pricing for the Mini Pro.

The Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495-based system is part of AMD’s Gorgon Halo lineup, where a large unified memory pool allows the CPU and integrated Radeon graphics to share system memory. This approach can be particularly useful for AI workloads that require more GPU memory than conventional integrated graphics typically provide.
Colorful has also completed the launch of its Lingchuang K16 mobile workstation. The laptop is listed on JD.com for ¥34,999, which is approximately $5,218 based on the current conversion mentioned by Colorful. It features the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with a 160 W TDP, giving the processor and Radeon 8060S graphics considerably more power to work with.

The K16 includes up to 128 GB of unified memory, a 16-inch 180 Hz IPS display, Wi-Fi 7, and a 99 Wh battery. Storage comes from a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, while two internal M.2 PCIe slots allow users to add more drives. Connectivity includes OCuLink, HDMI 2.1 and an SD card reader, with fingerprint unlocking and an all-metal chassis completing the workstation package.
With large unified-memory configurations, powerful integrated Radeon graphics, and high power limits, Colorful’s new Ryzen AI Max systems are aimed at users who need workstation-class CPU, GPU, and AI performance without necessarily moving to a conventional desktop with a discrete graphics card.
