Colorful Technology has officially introduced the iGame X870E VULCAN OC, its new flagship motherboard built on AMD’s X870E platform. Targeted at enthusiasts and competitive overclockers, the motherboard has already gained attention after setting a new overclocking record with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor ahead of its retail launch.

Using the iGame X870E VULCAN OC, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D was pushed to a peak frequency of 7335.48 MHz. This result places COLORFUL at the top of global high-frequency rankings for this CPU model, highlighting the board’s focus on extreme tuning and electrical stability.

The iGame X870E VULCAN OC is designed to extract maximum performance from AMD’s Ryzen 9000 X3D processors. The motherboard combines a high-current power layout, reinforced cooling hardware, and firmware-level tuning tools intended for sustained high-load operation and manual overclocking.

In terms of design, the board follows the Vulcan series’ industrial look, finished in black with large metal heatsinks covering critical components. A fin-array cooling structure and a full-coverage metal backplate are used to improve thermal performance and maintain system stability during prolonged workloads.
