Becastled Launches on PC and Consoles with New Features and Full 1.0 Release

Mana Potion Studio and Pingle Studio have officially released Becastled on all major gaming platforms, including PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Following its full 1.0 launch on PC, the game now makes its way to consoles with several new features, performance upgrades, and gameplay improvements.

Originally introduced in Early Access, Becastled combines the calm progression of a city builder with the intensity of siege defense. The game revolves around protecting the Sun Kingdom from nightly attacks while managing settlements during the day. Each day cycle is dedicated to constructing buildings, gathering resources, and expanding the village, while nights are spent defending walls and gates from incoming enemies.

The 1.0 version introduces a variety of additions that refine the overall experience. Players will notice a fully redesigned interface optimized for controller use, a new road-building system, and the addition of powerful boss encounters. The update also includes new achievements, a guided tutorial for newcomers, and multiple bug fixes. Becastled is now Steam Deck Verified and supports full controller input on PC, ensuring better accessibility across all platforms.

After spending four years in Early Access, the game now arrives as a complete release shaped by community feedback. According to Steam data, Becastled maintains a “Very Positive” rating with over 4,700 reviews, reflecting its consistent development and steady improvements. Several content creators, including Real Civil Engineer, Blitz, and Splattercat, have also praised its design and gameplay balance.

Players can expect a variety of gameplay elements that merge resource management, defense tactics, and exploration. Building placement and land use are central to the experience — rivers, hills, and forests serve as natural barriers and can be used strategically for defense. Seasons and weather changes further influence strategy, requiring players to adapt as conditions shift.

The game’s visual presentation follows a clean, low-poly art style that emphasizes clarity during both construction and combat. Despite its simple appearance, Becastled offers layers of depth as players balance expansion with protection. Keeping citizens content also plays a vital role, as morale affects productivity and the effectiveness of defenders.

With its 1.0 release, Becastled aims to reach a wider audience beyond the PC community. The console versions have been optimized for performance and accessibility, making it easier for players to enjoy its blend of relaxed building and challenging defense. Whether playing on handheld, console, or desktop, Becastled offers a complete experience that captures both sides of kingdom management — creation and survival.

Becastled is now available digitally on Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo eShop.
