AYANEO has officially introduced the Pocket VERT, a new premium vertical handheld game console designed for retro and modern mobile gaming. The device measures 86.4×143×20.5mm, offering a compact form factor that prioritizes portability without compromising functionality.

The Pocket VERT features a full-body CNC precision-carved casing, with a one-piece glass front panel that creates an almost seamless connection between the screen and the body. The console is equipped with a 3.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600×1440, 615 PPI, 10 times GB pixel-to-pixel reproduction, and 450 nits of brightness, delivering sharp and clear visuals suitable for a variety of games.
The handheld is available in three color options: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Lava Red. It uses an unmarked button design with a crystal-like texture and retains the classic D-pad and ABXY layout. Additional SE, ST, and AYA buttons have a minimalistic and intuitive design to ensure easy navigation during gameplay.

The Pocket VERT includes a MagicSwitch button that opens the function menu with a long press. It also features a dual-mode smart touchpad hidden under the integrated panel, which can be mapped for single joystick, dual joystick, or mouse use. The console is powered by a 6000mAh battery and comes with diamond-cut shoulder buttons for precise control.
Audio is delivered through stereo dual speakers, and the device supports AYANEO’s software ecosystem, including AYASpace and AYAHome. These platforms provide customizable button mapping, device masquerading, seamless button mapping 1.5, and AI-assisted translation features.

Details regarding additional hardware configurations and an official release date for the Pocket VERT have not yet been shared by AYANEO. The device is positioned as a high-end vertical handheld console that combines portability with a premium gaming experience.
