The flagship Alexa Tablet 12 Pro is the most capable model in the lineup, featuring a 12-inch 280 PPI display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3:2 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 4nm eight-core processor with up to 16GB of RAM, while Amazon claims nearly three times faster processing and nine times faster graphics compared with its previous tablets. The tablet also offers Wi-Fi 6E, quad Dolby Atmos speakers, and up to 16 hours of video playback.

Amazon is also offering the 12 Pro with a Nanomatte display designed to reduce reflections while retaining image quality. The company says the display uses a precision-etched glass surface developed with Corning, making it suitable for reading and viewing content in brighter environments.

The new tablets also run Android and have access to the full Google Play Store, bringing applications such as YouTube, Netflix, Gmail, and Google Docs alongside Amazon services including Prime Video, Kindle, Audible, Amazon Music, and Amazon Luna.

The Alexa Tablet 11 comes with an 11-inch 2.5K 90Hz display, 8GB of RAM, an eight-core processor, Dolby Atmos speakers, and up to 15 hours of video playback. Meanwhile, the Alexa Tablet 8 focuses on portability with an 8.7-inch display, 329g weight, Wi-Fi 6, 4GB of RAM, and up to 14 hours of video playback.

Alexa+ is built into all three models, with features including voice and touch controls, personalized recommendations, and On-Screen Intelligence. Users can ask Alexa to understand information displayed on the screen, while Amazon says these screen-related features are opt-in and can be disabled from Settings.

The Alexa Tablet 12 Pro also supports the new Pro Pen and Pro Keyboard. The USI 2.0 pen offers 4,096 pressure levels, tilt detection, magnetic docking, and wireless charging, while the keyboard attaches magnetically without Bluetooth pairing.

Amazon is pricing the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro from $499.99, with the Nanomatte version starting at $549.99. The Alexa Tablet 11 starts at $329.99, while the Alexa Tablet 8 starts at $229.99. All three tablets are available to order in the US, Mexico, and Canada, with shipping beginning October 14. The UK and several European markets will receive them from October 19.
