Xreal has launched its 1 Pro+ AR Glasses with updated display features, new viewing modes, and built-in 2D-to-3D video conversion. The new model follows the Xreal 1 Pro AR Glasses, which arrived last year, and targets users who want a large virtual screen for gaming, video streaming, and other content without carrying a traditional monitor. The Xreal 1 Pro+ is priced at $599 and connects to compatible laptops, smartphones, drones, and game consoles through USB-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support.
The Xreal 1 Pro+ uses two 0.55-inch Sony Micro-OLED displays, each offering a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The glasses retain the 57-degree field of view found on the previous model, while peak brightness reaches 1,200 nits. Adjustable electrochromic dimming allows users to control how much of their surroundings remain visible while viewing virtual content. The glasses also feature AI HDR image optimization, which is designed to improve image presentation across supported content.
The glasses support 2D-to-3D video conversion at up to 60 frames per second, powered directly by Xreal’s X1 processor. This allows users to watch 2D content in 3D without needing a separate processing device. The glasses also feature Sound by Bose audio, providing integrated sound for movies, gaming, and everyday media consumption.
Xreal has introduced three display modes: Standard, Gaming, and Reading. Each mode is designed for a different viewing scenario, allowing users to select settings suited to their activities. The virtual screen can also remain anchored in 3D space instead of following the user’s head movements, making it possible to keep content positioned in a consistent location while moving.

The updated glasses retain adjustable optics for centering the virtual display in front of each eye. Xreal has also revised the nose pad to improve comfort and make adjustments easier. Other features remain unchanged from the previous Xreal 1 Pro model, with the new version focusing on display functionality and usability rather than a complete hardware redesign.
The Xreal 1 Pro+ AR glasses are available to order through the official Xreal website starting October 15, 2026, for $599. Sales through the Xreal Amazon store are scheduled to begin on October 29, 2026.
