Logitech’s MX Master 4 Special Edition has appeared in leaked images ahead of an official announcement, revealing a new design with red graphics and darker side grips. The upcoming wireless productivity mouse appears to retain the hardware of the standard MX Master 4, with the reported changes focused on its appearance rather than new features. The leak comes from WinFuture editor Roland Quandt, who shared details of the unannounced model. Logitech has yet to confirm the Special Edition or announce its price and release date.
The leaked design uses a light gray finish similar to the existing Pale Gray version, with red accents across several areas of the shell. The left mouse button features graphic markings, while the right button carries a Special Edition label. The DPI button also appears in red, and the side grips use black or dark gray finishes. A red-to-pink gradient graphic along the side adds another visual difference from the standard model.

According to the leak, the MX Master 4 Special Edition retains an 8,000 DPI sensor, eight buttons, a gesture button, and Logitech’s MagSpeed scroll wheel. It also includes a dedicated horizontal scroll wheel for navigating wide spreadsheets, timelines, and other content. The mouse reportedly has a 650mAh battery, which is rated for up to 70 days of use on a full charge. These specifications remain unconfirmed for the Special Edition until Logitech releases official details.
The regular MX Master 4 is designed for office work, creative applications, and productivity-focused workflows. Its features include customizable haptic feedback, the Actions Ring shortcut interface, and software-based controls through Logitech’s Logi Options+ application. The Special Edition is not currently reported to introduce changes to these functions, suggesting that buyers would primarily be choosing it for its different finish.

Logitech has not disclosed whether the Special Edition will be a limited release or a permanent addition to the MX Master lineup. Its pricing and regional availability are also unknown. Until the company makes an announcement, the leaked images and specifications should be treated as preliminary information rather than confirmed product details.
