LAMZU has added another lightweight gaming mouse to its lineup with the launch of the Maya X V2, bringing a 47g design, a 50,000 CPI optical sensor, and 8KHz polling over both wired and wireless connections. The new mouse is aimed at gamers who want high tracking performance without moving to a smaller or heavily stripped-down shell.
The Maya X V2 measures 124 × 64 × 40 mm and uses a medium-to-large hand shape designed around three main grip styles. Its shell features a V-shaped tail, slightly tapered sides, and a rounded rear section. LAMZU has also added guide grooves around the left and right buttons, while a hollowed-out bottom helps keep the mouse at 47g.
Inside, the Maya X V2 uses a Nordic nRF54LM20 SoC paired with PixArt’s PAW NEXT optical sensor. The sensor supports up to 50,000 CPI, 880 IPS tracking speed, and 80G acceleration. The mouse also uses short-to-medium travel optical button microswitches and an optical scroll encoder.
For wireless gaming, the Maya X V2 supports an 8KHz polling rate through its 2.4GHz connection, while USB-C wired mode also reaches 8KHz. The higher polling rate can provide more frequent position updates, although it comes with increased battery consumption compared with lower polling-rate settings.
LAMZU has fitted the mouse with a 300mAh battery, with claimed battery life varying significantly depending on the selected polling rate. At 1KHz, the Maya X V2 can run for up to 180 hours, while 2KHz reduces the figure to 100 hours. At 4KHz, battery life is rated at up to 80 hours, and 8KHz operation provides up to 40 hours.
The mouse is available in four finishes: Maya White, Glacier Blue, Apricot Blossom Pink, and Maya Purple Night. Its exterior also uses a nano skin-friendly coating intended to provide a comfortable surface during extended use.
The Maya X V2 gives LAMZU a combination of a relatively large mouse shape and a 47g weight, while the PAW NEXT sensor and 8KHz polling target users who prioritize fast input response. The lower polling-rate modes also provide considerably longer battery life for gamers who do not need to run the mouse at 8KHz all the time.
